There are different types of skin depending on the sensitivity, texture and dryness. Different types of skin react differently to medical treatments, skin diseases and cleansers. Skin is generally oily, dry, normal or sensitive. Any cleanser that you choose should be according to your skin type.
Dryness of the skin depends on the amount of oil that your skin secretes and the capacity of your skin to regain moisture content. Dry skin looks cracked, patchy, white and flaked. This is because it is not able to regain moisture from outside nor it is able to produce sufficient amount of oil required. So, gentle skin cleansers and mild soaps are recommended for such skin type.
Oily skin is very greasy due to excess production of sebum by the oil producing glands. Here the excess oil gets mixed with the dirt, bacteria and dust to create pimples and acne. Cleansing for oily skin is crucial but can be done with strong liquid cleansers, soap gels and bar soaps. Since the oil is not evenly distributed in all parts of body so different products are needed for different body parts such as arms, face and legs. Products that are recommended for acne may also be suitable for oily skin.
Apart from soap and gel cleansers, moisturizing cleansers can also be used for normal skin type. These cleansers are cream based and leave the skin soft and clean after using. They are best suited for normal skin. They leave a layer of petrolatum on the skin surface after the final wash. Cleansing sheets can also be used for normal skin.
Among several skin cleanser options available, you can choose the product that is right for you. Liquid gels and synthetic detergent soaps are the best cleansers available that can provide you with a radiant skin.
